The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has released the fixture list for Nepal Premier League Season 3. The tournament runs from October 26 to November 21, 2026, with defending champions Lumbini Lions playing Sudurpaschim Royals in the opener at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

The opening match is on Monday, October 26 (Kartik 10), with a 4:30 PM NPT start. It repeats the 2025 final, in which Lumbini beat Sudurpaschim to win their first NPL title. Sudurpaschim were also runners-up in the inaugural 2024 season, when Janakpur Bolts won the title.

Eight franchises are taking part in the Siddhartha Bank NPL 2026: Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Janakpur Bolts, Karnali Yaks, Kathmandu Gorkhas, Lumbini Lions, Pokhara Avengers, and Sudurpaschim Royals. They play a single round-robin league stage, so each side plays seven league matches. The top four teams move into the playoffs.

Match timings and opening-week fixtures

Single-match days start at 4:30 PM. On double-header days, the first match starts at 12:30 PM and the second at 4:30 PM. The league stage runs through November 15.

Playoff schedule

The top two teams get two chances to reach the final through Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2. Teams finishing third and fourth must win the Eliminator and Qualifier 2 to get there. November 20 is a rest day before the final.

Lumbini's 2025 title run shows the route available to lower-placed sides. They finished fourth in the league with four wins from seven matches, then won the Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the final.

CAN had confirmed the Season 3 window on August 8. That announcement placed the tournament between Dashain and Tihar, a shift from the December window used in the first two seasons.
