The Janakpur Bolts are a professional cricket franchise based in Janakpur, Madhesh Province, competing in Nepal’s Premier League (NPL). They represent one of the most popular teams in the league and have quickly built a strong reputation in Nepal’s cricket scene.
Founded in 2024 with the start of the NPL, the team was created to showcase talent from Madhesh Province by combining local and international players. From the beginning, the Bolts focused on building a balanced and competitive squad, which helped them achieve early success, including becoming champions in their debut season.
The team is owned by Dream Sports Pvt Ltd and plays its home matches at Ram Janaki Cricket Ground in Janakpur.
