NetTV NPL 2026 Season Pass: Prices, How to Buy and Which Devices Work
October 24, 2026
NetTV, the holder of worldwide streaming rights for Nepal Premier League Season 3, is selling a season pass for the tournament, which starts on Monday, 26 October at the TU International Cricket Ground. Viewers in Nepal pay up to Rs 400, those in the Gulf up to Rs 600, and the pass is not meant for Smart TV apps, according to the published terms.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced the rights holders after the bidding process, with the OTT rights for the whole world going to Netvadi Private Limited for Rs 18.04 crore. The third season runs from 26 October to 21 November at the TU International Cricket Ground. Himalaya Television Network holds the linear TV rights for Nepal. Any viewer outside Nepal who wants a legal stream therefore needs the NetTV pass.
CAN has authorized the OTT platform to charge up to Rs 400, including taxes, in Nepal, Rs 600 in Gulf countries, and $10 in other countries. The tiers below combine that official ceiling with the regional breakdown in the NPL Cricket League’s season pass guide.
These are ceilings set by CAN, so the price shown inside the NetTV app is the one that counts.
For comparison, Dish Home Go charged Rs 300 for the NPL Season 2 stream in 2025 and $10 in the USA, Japan, Australia, and Europe. The Nepal price has therefore risen by Rs 100 this year, while the $10 overseas tier is unchanged.
NPL Cricket League’s guide describes an eSewa-based process:
Nepal viewers can also buy directly through NetTV’s in-app purchase.
According to the same guide, coupons are country-locked and non-refundable and cannot be activated on Smart TV or set-top box apps. A standard NetTV subscription does not include the tournament. The pass works on the NetTV mobile app (Android and iPhone) and on the web platform. These restrictions come from the published coupon terms as reported by the guide, not from a CAN statement. Confirm them in the app before buying, especially if you plan to watch on a television.
The guide lists match times as 12:30 PM and 5:00 PM Nepal time across 32 matches, made up of 28 league games and four playoff matches. See the NPL 2026 schedule for confirmed fixtures.
Streaming rights were a big part of CAN’s revenue story this year. DishHome Go won the OTT rights last year for Rs 53 million, so NetTV’s Rs 180.4 million is roughly three times higher. Reports differ on whether the figure includes tax, so it is best treated as the headline bid.
Viewers in Nepal who prefer television can follow the tournament on Himalaya Television. Fans who want to know where else to watch can check the NPL 2026 streaming guide, and those attending in person can use the ticketing page, since eSewa also holds the ticketing rights.
With the opening match two days away, the next thing to watch is whether NetTV publishes pricing for countries outside the listed regions.
