Rajbanshi is a specialist left-arm finger-spinner who operates as Nepal's primary control bowler in the middle overs across formats. His ODI numbers back this up: a career economy rate of 3.94 across 41 matches shows he's built more around containment and patient wicket-taking than express strike-rate bowling, though his best figures — 5/20 — prove he can run through a batting order when conditions turn in his favour. His signature moment came in the 2023 ACC Premier Cup final, where he took 4/14 against the UAE to seal Nepal's maiden Asia Cup qualification.

Domestically, he's arguably Nepal's most complete format-spanning bowler right now — in the space of a year (2025) he was named Player of the Series at the ODI-format PM Cup and Player of the Tournament at the first-class Jay Trophy, both with Nepal Police Club.
