Santosh Yadav was named Player of the Match in the 15th match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2026 after taking 3/11 in three overs as Kathmandu Gurkhas beat Biratnagar Kings by nine wickets at Kirtipur on Thursday.

Santosh Yadav took the wickets of Shubham Ranjane, Angelo Mathews, and Rupesh Singh. He bowled Mathews for 22 and had Singh lbw for 26, which ended Biratnagar’s last real partnership. Biratnagar were bowled out for 83 in 18.3 overs after being 35/7 at one stage.

Sahan Arachchige took 2/7, and Karan KC took 2/17 for Kathmandu. David Warner then made an unbeaten 44 off 24 balls, and Kathmandu chased 84 in 9.4 overs, finishing on 86/1 with 62 balls to spare.

Kathmandu Gurkhas have now won two of their three matches in NPL 2026.
