Pokhara Avengers Unveil Official Team Logo for NPL 2026
August 15, 2026
Pokhara Avengers, owned by Nepal T20 Pvt. Ltd., have revealed their official team logo for the Nepal Premier League on social media.
The crest combines three elements tied to the franchise's identity. A rising sun is represented through the image of a cricket ball, an eagle features prominently as a symbol of the team's ability to take on any challenge, and Machapuchare—the mountain most closely associated with Pokhara—anchors the design as a nod to the city itself.
Pokhara Avengers enter NPL 2026 as the tournament's highest-spending franchise on record, having paid NPR 35.7 million for their ownership stake, the largest amount spent on a team in NPL history. At the players' auction, the franchise secured Kushal Bhurtel as their marquee player through a lucky draw.
The franchise carries a unique lineage into the league. Pokhara Avengers played in the 2022/23 Nepal T20 League, where they were the only fully domestic team in the competition, and they are now the sole franchise making the direct transition from the Nepal T20 League into the Nepal Premier League — giving them a continuity of identity that no other NPL 2026 franchise shares.
NPL 2026 will be held across Nepal, with fixtures, points table standings, and full team squads available on the NPL 2026 Schedule and NPL 2026 Teams pages.
