Defending champions Lumbini Lions scored 149/8 in their 20 overs against Janakpur Bolts in the Nepal Premier League 2026, setting a target of 150 at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on November 5.

Janakpur won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Lumbini Innings: Poudel Leads, No Big Partnership

Captain Rohit Poudel top-scored with 34 off 30 balls, with three fours and a six. He was caught by Lalit off Avishek Tiwari.

Niroshan Dickwella added 27 off 27 balls, with two fours and a six, before Rahul Yadav caught him off Vishal Susling. Dilip Nath made 25 and was caught by Anil Shah off Susling. Aasif Sheikh made 21 before Harmeet Singh dismissed him lbw.

Darcy Short was out for a duck. Sandeep Jora scored 9 and Samim Hossain 1. Ruben Trumpelmann stayed unbeaten on 15.

Janakpur Bowling: Susling and Yadav Share the Wickets

Vishal Susling and Rahul Yadav took two wickets each. Lalit Rajbanshi, Avishek Tiwari and Harmeet Singh took one each.
