KIRTIPUR, Nov 2: Brandon McMullen’s fast 43 off 21 balls earned him Player of the Match as Sudurpaschim Royals beat Chitwan Rhinos by five wickets in Match 11 of NPL 2026 at the TU International Cricket Ground.

Chasing 130, McMullen hit six fours and two sixes at a strike rate of 204.76. He added 31 for the second wicket with Binod Bhandari and 36 for the third with Ishan Pandey. Royals were 70/4 when he fell in the seventh over. Pandey (25), Aarif Sheikh (20), and Sherfane Rutherford (21* off 15) then finished the chase in 16.4 overs, with 20 balls to spare.

Earlier, Royals won the toss and chose to field. They held Chitwan to 129/6, with Ravi Bopara top-scoring on 49 off 40. Scott Kuggeleijn took two wickets, and Hemant Dhami, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Anil Kharel took one each. Ranjit Kumar’s 3/28 was the best for Chitwan.

The win moves Sudurpaschim to third in the table with four points from four matches. Chitwan stays fifth with three points from three.
