Overseas signings for the 2026 Nepal Premier League have been announced across all eight franchises, although The third edition of the league runs from 26 October to 21 November at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. A confirmed signing does not guarantee selection in every match, as player availability may change due to national duty, injury, or workload.

David Warner (Kathmandu Gorkhas), Shakib Al Hasan (Pokhara Avengers), Moeen Ali, James Neesham, and Harmeet Singh (Janakpur Bolts), Chamika Karunaratne, Andre Russell, Sikandar Raza (Chitwan Rhinos), Charith Asalanka (Biratnagar Kings), and Saif Ali Zaib (Sudurpaschim Royals) are among the overseas players named for NPL 2026.

Other players include Ruben Trumpelmann and Niroshan Dickwella (Lumbini Lions), Ravi Bopara and Kaleem Sana (Chitwan Rhinos), Scott Kuggeleijn and Brandon McMullen (Sudurpaschim Royals), and KS Bharat and Sahan Arachchige (Kathmandu Gorkhas).

Several names circulating on social media, including Heinrich Klaasen, have not been confirmed as overseas signings for Season 3. Reports linking Pakistani batter Haider Ali to a franchise, including claims involving Sudurpaschim Royals, also remain unconfirmed.

Following the league's ICC sanction, franchises may register between six and eight overseas players. The playing XI must include at least seven Nepali players and no more than four overseas players. All foreign players, including those retired from international cricket, must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective cricket boards.

More announcements from franchises and the Cricket Association of Nepal are expected before the tournament begins on 26 October, with defending champions Lumbini Lions set to face Sudurpaschim Royals in the opening match.
