Kathmandu Gurkhas won the toss and elected to bat first against Janakpur Bolts in the fifth match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2026 at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Thursday, October 29.

The decision allows Kathmandu Gurkhas to set a target and put pressure on Janakpur Bolts in the first innings. Janakpur, meanwhile, will look to restrict the opposition and chase the target in the second innings.
