Everest Bank has renewed its partnership with Biratnagar Kings for the third edition of the Nepal Premier League, with the agreement completed at a program in Biratnagar.

Bizmandu reported on 5 October 2026 that the deal was concluded in Biratnagar on Sunday, 4 October. Kantipur and Ratopati also reported the renewal the same day. The reports describe a continuation of an existing association rather than a first-time tie-up. None of the accounts published a sponsorship value or specified a jersey placement for the 2026 agreement.

Biratnagar Kings director Paras Luniya said Everest Bank has contributed to the development of Nepali cricket and the promotion of sport, according to Bizmandu. The franchise thanked the bank and said corporate support matters to efforts to develop the game, encourage young players, and run the sport on a more professional footing. It also said it wants the partnership to continue effectively beyond this season.

Everest Bank first signed as a Biratnagar Kings sponsor ahead of the 2025 NPL. That agreement was completed in Biratnagar on 16 November 2025, the day before the second edition began, Bizmandu reported at the time. Venkatesh Mundada signed for the franchise, and Sudhir Gautam, then the bank’s regional manager, signed for Everest Bank. The Kings are owned by four Biratnagar business groups: MM Group, Arihant Group, Devendra Group, and Jayshree Group.

The renewal gives the franchise a confirmed commercial partner before it returns for a title push. Biratnagar finished third in the 2025 season, behind champions Lumbini Lions and runners-up Sudurpaschim Royals. Sandeep Lamichhane remains the retained marquee player and captain. The Cricket Association of Nepal has scheduled the third edition from 26 October to 21 November 2026, with every match at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. Biratnagar’s first fixture is against Chitwan Rhinos at 12:30 pm on 27 October.
