Sixes For Her Future: Janakpur Bolts’ Girls’ Education Fund Reaches NPR 2,40,000
November 03, 2026
Janakpur Bolts’ “Sixes For Her Future” campaign for girls’ education in Madhesh Province now stands at NPR 2,40,000. The franchise says NPR 90,000 came from sixes and wickets across its first three NPL 2026 matches. ARKSH Group added NPR 150,000.
The initiative is led by Janakpur Bolts youth ambassador Dr. Sareesha Shrestha, with ARKSH Group as supporting sponsor. Artha Dabali reported that NPR 2,000 is contributed for every six the Bolts hit and every wicket they take. ARKSH set up the NPR 150,000 starting fund.
The opening game showed how it adds up. Artha Dabali reported that the Bolts took nine wickets and hit five sixes in their Match 3 loss to Karnali Yaks. That raised NPR 28,000: NPR 18,000 from wickets and NPR 10,000 from sixes. At the same rate, NPR 90,000 equals 45 sixes and wickets combined across three matches.
The campaign aims to support at least 10 economically disadvantaged girls in Madhesh Province. Funds will cover school uniforms, books and learning materials, exam fees and transport. Artha Dabali reported that beneficiaries will be chosen by financial need and risk of leaving school. The Bolts plan to work with local schools or education-focused organizations to identify the girls, distribute support, and track progress.
After the opening loss, the Bolts beat Kathmandu Gurkhas by eight wickets in Match 5. They then beat Pokhara Avengers by nine runs in Match 9. On November 3 they played the Biratnagar Kings in Match 12, after electing to field. The reported total does not include that game.
Their remaining league fixtures are:
Every six and wicket in those games adds to the fund. The full list is on the NPL 2026 schedule page, and results are on the live score page.
