Chitwan Rhinos have signed Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza as an overseas player for the third season of the Nepal Premier League, the franchise confirmed on August 27.

The 40-year-old brings significant international and franchise experience to a Chitwan side looking to bounce back after missing the playoffs in NPL's second edition. Raza, who was born in Pakistan and represents Zimbabwe internationally, made his international debut in 2013 and has since established himself as one of Zimbabwe's leading players across formats as a right-handed batter and off-spin bowler.

Beyond international cricket, Raza has featured in several major franchise leagues, including the Indian Premier League, Pakistan Super League, Bangladesh Premier League, Caribbean Premier League, and International League T20. He has won franchise titles with Lahore Qalandars in the PSL, Trinbago Knight Riders in the CPL, and Dubai Capitals in the ILT20.

His signing adds experienced overseas firepower to Chitwan's roster as the franchise builds toward NPL Season 3, which CAN has scheduled for October 26 to November 21, 2026.
