Kathmandu Gorkhas Name Cloud Education as Official Abroad Study Partner for NPL 2026
Kathmandu Gorkhas have appointed Cloud Education and Visa Services as their official abroad study partner for the third season of the Nepal Premier League. The partnership was formalized in Kathmandu under the slogan “Together for the Game: A Partnership for Cricket.”
The agreement was signed by Anubhav Sirohiya, Executive Director of Kathmandu Gorkhas, and Ayush Gautam, Director of Cloud Education. According to statements from both sides, the collaboration is intended to promote Nepali cricket while expanding private-sector involvement in the development of the sports sector.
Cloud Education, an education and visa consultancy that assists Nepali students seeking higher education opportunities in destinations such as Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada, has previously been associated with NPL franchises. The company has said the partnership aims to encourage sports-related activities and help increase interest in cricket among young people.Sirohiya welcomed the firm to the Gorkhas setup, describing the addition of an official abroad study partner as a positive step for the franchise ahead of the upcoming season. Cloud Education has indicated that such collaborations can play a constructive role in growing private-sector participation in Nepali sports.
The third edition of the NPL is scheduled to take place from 26 October to 21 November 2026 at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. Kathmandu Gorkhas entered the season with a mix of retained domestic players and overseas signings and have already secured other commercial partners, including Shikhar Insurance as a golden partner and Century as a jersey sponsor.
