Earlier, Dawid Malan struck a superb 80, and Arjun Saud added 52 as Chitwan posted 176/4, but their bowlers couldn't defend it. Sah was named Player of the Match for anchoring the chase.

Chitwan had earlier produced a solid total of 176 for 4 after choosing to bat first. Their innings revolved around Dawid Malan, who played one of the best knocks of this year's tournament. His 80 off 54 balls, built with five sixes and four boundaries, held the innings together from the start. He shared a 112-run opening partnership with Arjun Saud, whose 52 off 39 balls gave Chitwan an ideal platform. Despite that strong start, Janakpur pulled things back well in the final five overs, allowing Chitwan only 47 runs during the closing phase.

Janakpur's reply had the early wicket of Aasif Sheikh, but once Maaz Sadaqat and Anil Sah settled in, the momentum never shifted again. Sadaqat was aggressive from the outset, smashing 63 off just 30 deliveries. His knock included six fours and four sixes, and his tempo changed the match completely. Sah played the anchor role early on but opened up once the chase came under control. His 61 off 36 balls was calm, calculated, and perfectly timed for the situation. Their partnership of 79 took the game away from Chitwan long before the final overs.

Chitwan's bowlers struggled for breakthroughs after the power play. Sohail Tanvir picked up a wicket and bowled with control, but the rest of the attack could not create pressure as Janakpur's batters kept the scoring rate above ten for most of the chase. By the time Malan removed Sadaqat, Janakpur were already ahead of the rate and cruising.

Sah was named Player of the Match for guiding the chase and closing out a much-needed win for his side. The result lifts the Bolts off the bottom of the table and gives them hope heading into the final stretch of the league stage. Chitwan, meanwhile, will feel they left at least 15 runs on the field after their lightning start and will be disappointed with their bowling effort, especially in the middle overs.
